3800 burials with 2948    inscriptions from 1754 to 1994

850 ft x 300  ft in good condition enclosed with a stone wall; sign in good condition

Tax Assessors Map #: Plat #: 244   Lot #: 182   

NOTE: Arnold visited this lot 23 Oct 1892; Vol II Pg 359-400. "In the Judge Brayton yard at Apponaug, lot well walled though portions of the yard are neglected."  Charles and Martha Benns recorded part of this cemetery in 1932, their #168.  There are 105 Civil War veterans in this cemetery identified on their gravestones.   Granite posts & iron rails on north boundary, stone wall on south boundary.
